On a lovely sunny day in July, Hog Roast Hatfield catered for a wonderful party to celebrate Carmen’s birthday. The party had a beach theme, so the sunny weather was the perfect backdrop to the event. Our catering manager Darren was hired to cater for the occasion, with a menu that would be ideal for 60 guests to enjoy. Carmen chose our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which is a great option and was sure to be a wonderfully tasty addition to the party!
On the day of the event, Darren and the Hog Roast Hatfield team arrived at the venue and began setting up our catering station. We started by slow-roasting the main dishes, which included whole-roasted Cajun-spiced chickens, a 24-hour beef brisket, and our BBQ ribs. For meat-free guests, we also provided halloumi and vegetable skewers. The mains were served in a selection of fresh bread rolls and wraps, with creamy mac and cheese, fresh-cooked chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, and a mixed leaf salad also on offer. Overall, our menu was a big success and was a great addition to Carmen’s party. It was great to see all of the guests enjoying themselves and making the most of the day at the ‘beach’!
