For some families, they have relatives spread out across the country and are not able to get together as often as they would like. Jackie and her husband have hired Hog Roast Royston to cater for a family reunion that they are hosting at their home in Hertfordshire. The pair live on a farm with acres of land surrounding them, which is the perfect location for the extended family to meet and catch up. The reunion is set to include relatives from all of the country, with a total of 45 guests expected to attend. For the catering, our manager Darren needed to provide a menu that would be perfect for guests of all ages, with a broad selection of options for the family to enjoy. After looking through our menus, Jackie decided that our BBQ package would be perfect, since it is incredibly varied and is always a hit in the summer months!
In preparation for the reunion, the Hog Roast Royston team will arrive at the farm in the morning and Darren will get our catering station set up in the central courtyard. We will start our meal prep by barbequing the main dishes, which will include succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls and wraps, with a variety of gluten-free and wholemeal options also on offer. Additionally, the guests can enjoy homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of salad dishes, which will ensure that our menu is varied and delicious, with plenty for everyone to enjoy.
