This October, Lucy’s daughter turned 6 and wanted to enjoy a birthday party with a princess theme. The party was set to take place at a local function room in Hertfordshire, meaning that there would be plenty of space for 30 6-year-olds and their parents to enjoy the event. For the entertainment, Lucy had hired a DJ to play music for the event, alongside an optional fancy dress theme of princes and princesses! To ensure that there was something for everyone to enjoy, Hog Roast How Wood had been hired to cater for the occasion. Daniel is our local catering manager, and he was more than happy to get involved with the event and provide a delicious gourmet BBQ for the guests to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast How Wood team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. We set up our catering station outside of the venue, giving ourselves plenty of space to cook and prepare the dishes. The mains included pork sausages, homemade British beef burgers, veggie sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, and vegetable and halloumi skewers. This was accompanied by crunchy coleslaw, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, homemade chips, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes.
