This week has been hectic as we have been moving all our equipment to our new catering unit in Aldbury industrial estate.
It has been a long awaited move as we out grew our current premises a few years ago and it has been hard work juggling equipment around every week. So hopefully over the next few months we will be busy building and painting to have the new unit as we want it.
We also had our van sign painted as well with the Spitting Pig logo and as you can see by the picture on the galleries page, it looks rather good !!
We have been were providing wedding catering in Aldbury this week end for Ray and Angie. They have been together for years and traveled the world in style.
At long last Ray had popped the question and while on holiday in Spain they were planning the big day.
The location of the event was the West Mill Community Centre in John Barker Place, Aldbury. Ray and Angie had decorated the centre very nicely with lace decor and balloons and the hall looked great.
We were able to provided our menu No 3 hog roast Aldbury option which consists of the mouth watering hog roast Aldbury meat with apple sauce and stuffing as well as the ever popular golden crispy crackling. This is served with an array of salads that are freshly prepared at the venue and hot new potatoes with mint and butter.
Although we usually serve out side under our catering marquee, if we are providing the catering for hog roast just about anywhere we will set up our serving tables inside the hall complete with crisp white table linen and gleaming stainless steel chaffing dishes so your event looks and feels grand.
The evening was a huge success and guests came back for seconds and thirds of the mouth watering roast pork before indulging on the desserts that followed.
There was then a grand fire work display which lit up the dark skies of Aldbury to round of the evening. We wish Ray and Angie a long and happy marriage and hope they continue with their travels around Europe….. Sounds like they lead a good life !!
Next year is looking like it will be another very busy year for myself and the catering team…. Bookings are coming in thick and fast and some weekends are almost fully booked with hog roast catering in Aldbury and wedding catering in Potters Bar.
