Ella celebrated her birthday earlier this October, with catering provided by Hog Roast Great Hormead. Before her big celebration, our team were contacted by Ella’s parents to enquire about the catering menus that we can offer. They required informal buffet catering for 80 guests, with dishes that were suitable for vegetarians and gluten-free guests. After discussing our options, it was decided that we would provide our delicious BBQ menu.
Ella’s party took place in a local function room, and the Hog Roast Great Hormead team arrived early on the day to prepare the main dishes in time for the 17:00 mealtime. We began by grilling succulent sausages, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and BBQ spareribs. This provided plenty of variety for the guests to choose from, ensuring that there was a dish for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the mains, we also served crunchy coleslaw, seasonal salad, homemade chips, and fresh bread rolls, including a gluten-free option. Overall, this created a meal that was delicious and nutritious, with plenty to go around! The catering was served buffet-style on bamboo plates, creating an ideal level of formality for the event.
Following the main course, our team sliced Ella’s birthday cake and served it to the guests, accompanied by fresh fruit and English cream. This was perfect for the birthday celebration and was a great addition to the meal. Our team had lots of fun catering for this event and it was great to be part of such a special celebration!
