After having to postpone their 50th wedding celebration last year due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year Pete and Lisa were ready to make their celebration even more memorable! This included hosting a celebration with 60 of their friends and family and providing a delicious sit-down meal for the occasion. The event was hosted in a marquee which was beautifully decorated to include a formal seating arrangement- as well as plenty of room to dance. The menu needed to be served formally and include plenty for everyone to enjoy, including vegetarian options.
As the guests arrived at the venue, we began by serving a selection of delicious canapés. This included mini pizzas, salmon, duck breast, an Indian selection, and mini fish and chips. Canapés are a wonderful way to set a formal tone for the evening and to introduce the guests to Hog Roast Eastbury’s catering.
Following the canapés, it was time to enjoy a classic main course. We provided Hog Roast Eastbury’s delicious slow-roasted hog, as well as BBQ pulled jackfruit for vegetarian guests. The mains were served with a selection of delicious sides, including seasonal vegetables and homemade chips.
To finish the menu, the guests were served profiteroles or cheesecake served with English cream and fresh berries. This was a wonderful way to end the menu and prepare the guests for an evening of dancing away together and making great memories!
