Hog Roast Stevenage Had A Blast At A Cosy Wedding Ceremony!

With our on-site catering service massively decreased at the minute, Hog Roast Stevenage has been making the most of the few bookings that we can continue to attend in a normal(ish) manner. So, for now, this means that weddings are one of the most common events our teams are being asked to handle. And since so many couples are still looking to get hitched after having had to postpone their big days, the spaces in our diaries are filling up fast.

Hog Roast StevenageYou won’t hear a single complaint from us, though – weddings have always been, and always will be one of our favourite events to serve at. Despite being a far cry from the hundreds of guests that we catered for in previous years, the Hog Roast Stevenage team has been loving every minute of the intimate ceremonies that we have been invited along to these past few months.

Last Saturday, it was Tom and Carmen’s turn to finally tie the knot. Having been looking forward to the occasion for over two years, the pair could barely contain their excitement for the life-changing day. Though, like many couples this year, their wedding reception needed a complete revamp to comply with COVID restrictions before the big date arrived.

What would ordinarily have been a very stressful affair, was easy as pie for Tom and Carmen who had the Hog Roast Stevenage team on hand to help them manage and implement every change. Our impressive selection of wedding menus made finding the perfect feast for the occasion a simple task, and after taking the day to confer with each other, the couple called back to confirm their booking for our wedding menu 2, which offers a gorgeous collection of canapes, followed by two main course options with side salads, veg, and finally, a wedding cake service.

After the ceremony, the wedding party of 15 was treated to a delightful spread of either spit roasted pig with all the trimmings or free-range chicken with chipolata sausage, stuffing and homemade onion gravy. A trio of salads was also available, along with moreish canapes and the wedding cake which was dressed in ripe berries, fresh cream and a summer fruit coulis.
