Hog Roast Tottenhoe at a christening!

Hog Roast Tottenhoe’s latest event took place on a beautifully bright and sunny day at Tottenhoe Football Club and the day was special for absolutely everyone. The event, a christening, was booked by client Mark and he wanted the day to be fun, something that was reflected in the menu that he and the team worked together to create.

Hog Roast Tottenhoe50 very lucky guests tucked into a delicious buffet that was created by Catering Manager Dave from Hog Roast Tottenhoe. The entire buffet was cooked from scratch at the Tottenhoe football club venue in the hours leading up to the 4pm serving time. Dave worked hard to set up the catering equipment outside and then made all the dishes himself, pouring all of his love and experience into the tasty treats. As well as making the platters of food Catering Manager Dave also set up the buffet serving table, complete with the good quality disposable crockery and cutlery that the Hog Roast Tottenhoe team provided for the guests to use, which was part of the catering package client Mark had put together.

The menu included a slow roasted pig that was served pulled with BBQ sauce, there was also 15 burgers served with cheese and caramelised onions. As well as having meaty treats available, there was also a vegetarian alternative on offer, there was a large platter of perfectly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. That wasn’t all however, there was a whole load of tasty sides on offer! There was cool coleslaw, Caesar salad, Greek salad, couscous, copious amounts of roasted new potatoes and a mountain of soft gluten free rolls.

When 4m rolled around the buffet table was a feast for the eyes as well as a treat for the tummy. Catering Manager Dave really out did himself and client Mark as well as the 50 guests were all absolutely thrilled with the buffet spread.

After the buffet had been thoroughly enjoyed by the guests Dave quietly tidied away. He gathered all the rubbish that the catering element of the event had caused. This waste was then taken off site and disposed of responsibly by Hog Roast Tottenhoe, leaving Mark able to celebrate the special day.
