Our job is not the normal nine to five, Monday to Friday job but the complete opposite. We Generally have a few quiet days at the beginning of the week and then it is full on from Wednesday to Sunday with Friday being the busiest and most hectic day…. Hogs arriving from the local butchers, deliveries from brakes, a bit of shopping and then getting the pigs racked and packing the vans for hog roast catering in Amwell and lamb roasts in Amwell too.
As i say, our job is not nine to five and every event is different. It really is enjoyable and we all have a passion for good food and take a lot of pleasure making a simple hog roast into a feast that your guests will enjoy.
We go to some lovely places such as mansions and castles, and a few odd venues such as building sites and super market car parks. We have even been on HMS far out into the English channel.
Well this week we had a mixture of hog roast catering events throughout Amwell.
First to set off in the morning was our chef John and his assistant Vania. They were spit roast catering in Amwell also for the afternoon wedding reception for Victoria.
It was a lovely Autumn afternoon and the sun was pleasantly warm during the day but the summer season has certainly come to an end and winter thermals will be needed from now on.
Another busy weekend hog roasting in Amwell drew to an end and we headed home for a nice soak in the bath and a glass or two of fine wine.
