At Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City, we’re no strangers to serving up our delicious hog roasts for a variety of occasions. Recently, we had the pleasure of catering for a special corporate event hosted by the Marshall’s Skoda branch on Works Road.
This event was no ordinary gathering, as it celebrated the branch’s victory in a competition for the best accessory display incentive, making them the lucky recipients of a mouthwatering hog roast luncheon, courtesy of Skoda UK.
When it comes to prizes, a delectable hog roast is undoubtedly one of the best rewards, and it was our privilege to bring this savoury delight to the 26 staff members at Marshalls Skoda.
On the day of the event, Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City’s dedicated catering manager, Darren, put in tireless effort to prepare our renowned Classic Hog Roast Menu. By 1 pm, the enticing aroma of slow-roasted pork with sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and tangy applesauce filled the air. The hog roast was accompanied by an array of fresh bread rolls and wraps, ensuring that everyone could create their perfect sandwich or wrap to savour every bite.
For those who preferred a meat-free option, we had something special in store. Grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs, served with soft flatbreads and a tantalising tzatziki dip alongside a punchy sweet chilli sauce, provided a delicious alternative that didn’t compromise on flavour or satisfaction.
As the catering team worked their magic, the Marshall’s Skoda staff members couldn’t contain their excitement. Smiles lit up their faces as they eagerly lined up for generous helpings of our mouth-watering creations. It was clear that this hog roast luncheon was the perfect way to reward their hard work and dedication.
The event was not only a gastronomic delight but also a heartwarming celebration of achievement and teamwork. Everyone at Marshall’s Skoda was over the moon with their well-deserved treat, and they happily indulged in extra helpings before returning to work, reinvigorated and motivated.
