Whatever the weather you can still have a hertfordshire hogroast

We have another barn dance coming up in the memorial Hall, Bovingdon in May which is a fund raiser for the hall.

If anybody out there reading this blog fancies a barn dance, we can highly recommend Chris and his band. They travel near and far. See the link on our website for further information.

It’s meant to be the middle of summer and the weather forecast is bad what can you do?

Don’t panic, we will still be there! Luckily most events are nice, warm and dry which helps at an outdoor party but we have worked in some awfull weather.

Take the rugby memorial game (which they did not play) in Hayes, Middx in January, six inches of snow, fierce winds and a temperature of -6.

Do you bring cover?

Whatever the weather, we won’t let you down, we have a range of pop up catering marquees to keep the elements at bay.

They are really light, but sturdy and take seconds to erect and actually make a nice focal point

We always supply a marquee at events, as you never quite know what to expect. We also attach lights if it is an evening party and have halogen heaters as well if it is cold

They range from 3m x 3m to 6m x 3m and have sides as well if the day is really bad and you need that extra bit of protection.

If you are expecting a large number of guests and hoping to keep them out of the house and are worried by the weather, we can also hire a range of garden marquees, with tables and chairs  as well. We can accommodate about 120 guests under our large marquee. But we do need a bit of notice as it has to be put up a few days in advance.
