Hog Roast Hitchin is committed to providing fresh and tasty food for all types of special occasions and our hard-working, highly-trained chefs and catering assistants always go the extra mile to ensure that our customers and their guests are satisfied from start to finish.
We offer a friendly, personalised service and we can help you tailor your own menu to your wants and needs if needed, whether you’re planning your wedding day reception meal of multiple courses, a future back garden birthday party with a simple yet mouthwatering main (when we’re no longer in lockdown of course!) or anything else you can think of. We’re experienced in catering all kinds of parties and events and over the years, that’s included many retirements, christenings, engagements, corporate functions, charity events and more, with many customers returning to us again and again.
A Hog Roast Hitchin meal is anything that you want it to be, as you’re in charge of what you’d like to be freshly prepared, cooked and served on the day. While our signature food is a big part of us – after all, hog roasts are part of our name! – we also understand that sometimes our customers want something different to be served or need alternatives in order to feed guests on special diets, whether vegan, vegetarian or because of allergies or intolerances.
In terms of different options of meat, we can spit-roast turkeys, chickens, lamb or beef or whip up a barbecue, while one of our speciality standalone menus can wow everyone instead if you prefer. For instance, our new Alfresco Menu gives you antipasti platters, a hog roast and choice of desserts, our Loaded Fries are topped with meat, slaw and melting cheese or our Southern Slow Roast features three marinated meats and four sides.
You may be planning a multi-course menu and Hog Roast Hitchin has plenty of delicious canapés, starters, sides and desserts to choose from, and you’re not limited to a certain number of dishes, so you can select one side or all of the above if you like, or just enjoy one of our mouthwatering mains by itself. It’s all up to you!
